Crans-Montana may not be screaming opulence like Courchevel but its scenery is just as breathtaking – which is exactly why we love it.

Hop on a train directly from the international airport of Geneva to reach this charming Swiss ski resort situated at about 1,500m above sea level. With 140 kilometres of slopes, Crans-Montana is a great place for ski lovers and is often selected as the Alpine Ski World Cup location. If skiing is not really your thing, don’t worry, a gondola lift will take you up above the clouds where you can still enjoy a traditional fondue in the sun at La Cabane des Violettes while admiring the panoramic view.

After having been up and down the Plaine Morte glacier a few times, you might be in need of some peaceful relaxation and pampering. If this is the case, head over to the Hotel Guarda Golf, a beautiful Alpine retreat featuring a wonderful wellness area. Clear your mind as you swim in the stone-carved indoor pool and experience absolute inner serenity, you are now in good hands!

If you wish to live the “high life” at its fullest, we recommend staying at Hotel Chetzeron, located somewhere between snow and sky. The exterior aspect of this remote luxurious hotel may stay true to its former cable car station purpose but we invite you to step inside and discover the soothing comfort of a modern cocoon. Reachable only by snowcat or skis, this is the ideal base for a stylish stay. Wrap yourself up in cashmere and sheepskin, grab a glass of champagne and meet us on the panoramic terrace to watch the sun set behind the mountains at dusk.
